into lakes that the coal company systematically beautified.
Around the lakes are promenades and bicycling trails, bridle
paths, tennis courts, mini-golf courses, beach volleyball and
basketball courts, a modern children’s playground, a boathouse
where visitors can rent boats, and a campground.
